Stay well this winter and remember to stay hydrated, get plenty of sleep and eat a balanced diet.
Never touch your eyes! Rubbing the eyes and touching the eyes is a great way to contract illness. The eyes are a main portal of entry for germs carried on the hands and fingers. Think about all the things you touch when you pull up in the clinic parking lot….The car seat belt, the steering wheel, the front door, a pen at the front desk, the arms of the chair in the waiting area and doorknobs. All these areas are covered in germs. Now think about touching your eyes!
On to the topic of handwashing. There is no good substitute for soap and water! Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds rubbing them vigorously with soap and warm water.
if you do get sick with cough, fever, body aches and headache call for an appointment. I will do my best to treat your symptoms and get you back on the road to health!
